What is a black box?
The color of the black box is not black just name called.. It is an electronic recording device made From steel or titanium Metals , which helps investigators find the cause of a plane crash.
Black bucks are also called flight recorders. There are two types of this. Flight Data Recorder (its called as FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (its called CVR). Combined with both devices, it is a shoebox-sized unit.
The FDR records approximately 80 movements per second, such as wind speed, altitude, upward speed, and fuel flow. It has 25 hours of recording storage.
The CVR records cockpit sounds. Records the interaction of pilots with their vehicle traffic control. It also records switches and engine noise.
Why the need for a black box?
Equipped with radio, radar and electronic navigational tools, the buck was born in a British combat aircraft during World War II. Until that time, investigators were not involved in plane crash cases.
It was a secret electronic device kept in a non-reflective black box. It later took the shape of two orange bins to detect an accident as soon as possible. How to get a black box?

Can another device work instead of a black box?

The air-to-ground system sends flight data to the ground using satellite. This will prevent the need to find a black box. Investigation time will be saved. The aircraft can also be rescued in times of crisis.
Scientists are also working on satellite and GPS capabilities, data storage speeds and battery life. So that called new innovations become faster & lighter.

How long does it take for black box data to be analyzed?
Typically, data from a black box is analyzed in 10-15 days. In the meantime, they analyze the pilots’ conversations with the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) before the accident.
